Welcome to CJ's Lakeview Resort on Bear Lake in NW Wisconsin
Fishing, boating, swimming, sun bathing or immersing yourself into a good book are a few of the activities available to you at CJ's. Located a few miles from the village of Haugen where you will find a small grocery store, libations and several tasty dining options. Also, you can hop on the Tuscobia state trail with your utv or snowmobile giving you access to hundreds of additional miles of trails. Our resort is centrally located on the South shore of the 1348 acre Bear Lake. Guests enjoy the stunning panoramic view offered right from our shore. Get your camera ready as sunsets looking down the heart of the lake are gorgeous.
When you think of a vacation rental on a beautiful lake in Northern Wisconsin you may think of staying in a cozy cabin or cottage. Or maybe you are thinking of a little more space like a house or lodge. Either way we have accommodations that fit those descriptions. Proud to be one of the original places to stay on Bear Lake we offer four 2 bedroom cabins/cottage and one 3 bedroom house/lodge. The cabins and house are located a short distance from the lake shore on flat to gentle sloping grounds. Each accommodation has a dock space with electric near by for charging batteries. A community fire pit with complimentary firewood is a great spot to watch the sunset and visit. Some of our guests enjoy cooking on the open fire. A screened fish cleaning house and a freezer are provided for preparing your catch. Washer and a dryer are available for our guests to use if needed.
Ohio, Iowa and Indiana
These seasonal rustic cabins have been a part of the resort from the beginning. They have a bathroom, two bedrooms with one full bed in each room and a roll away bed in an enclosed porch. Kitchen, dining and living are combined into one room. There is a table with chairs and additional seating. Electric heat for those cool days and two tabletop fans for those warm days. Four stackable fabric patio chairs for indoor or outdoor use.
Michigan
This is a four season cabin has a bathroom and two bedrooms with one full bed in each room. Futon chair and sofa in the living room can also be used as additional beds. Kitchen, dining and living are combined into one room. There is a table with chairs and additional seating. A furnace provides heat for those cool days and two tabletop fans for those warm days. Four stackable fabric patio chairs for indoor or outdoor use.
Minnesota
A spacious modern home that we offer year round. Large bathroom with plenty of cabinet space. Three bedrooms each with one queen bed, large closet and ceiling fan. Kitchen with wall to wall cupboards and countertops, two tier island with four chairs and built in dishwasher. Dining and living are combined into one big room with a dinning table and chairs plus sofa, oversized chair and recliner. A furnace provides heat for those cool days and central air conditioning for those warm days. Six stackable fabric patio chairs for indoor or outdoor use.
Amenities
All rentals are equipped for housekeeping with range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, charcoal grill, utensils, dishes and silverware. Bathroom has sink, toilet and shower. Bedding, bath towels, hand towels and kitchen towels provided (and will be changed out at end of the week if you are staying more than one week). Dish and hand soap, dish cloth and sponge along with paper towel and toilet tissue included.​
Rates
Accommodation cost based off of a full week (7 nights). Week starts on Saturday and ends on Saturday.
In some instances we may rent on a nightly rate of $175 plus tax for two persons. Each additional person $35 plus tax per night. Two night minimum stay.

Two bedroom cabin weekly rate $975 plus tax.
Three bedroom cabin weekly rate $1,450 plus tax.
Iowa, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan are considered two bedroom cabins and sleep 4 adults (18 and older), persons 17 and under included in rent. Any additional adults $35 per night. Maximum of 6 person per cabin.
Minnesota is considered a three bedroom cabin and sleeps 6 adults (18 and older), persons 17 and under included in rent. Any additional adults $35 per night. Maximum of 8 person per cabin.
$200 deposit per unit per week must accompany all reservations with in thirty days. Balance due at time of your stay. 90 day notice of cancellation is necessary for the return of deposit.
We have a No Pet policy due to allergies, cleanliness and the comfort for all of our guests.

Bear lake is an ideal size to safely navigate with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy without feeling cramped and crowded. Boaters towing skiers, tubers and wakeboarders can play in the deep middle part of the lake while fisherman generally hang near the shorelines. With the directionality of the lake the prevailing winds work well for sailing vessels.
Bear Lake is home to several species of fish including Crappie, Bluegill, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. A depth of over 80' at it's deepest with both gentle and steep drops towards the center of the lake. A diverse bottom condition of mud, sand, gravel and rock. In the shallows there are several variety's of weeds such as cabbage, lilly pads, fox tail and reeds. The lake's water is moderately clear.
